Karen is a Project Manager at CORE Planning Strategies and a licensed Professional Engineer with over 11 years of experience in civil engineering and project management. She leads and manages a wide range of planning, development, and environmental projects. She incorporates her technical experience and strong communication skills to successfully navigate through complicated projects for the implementation of long-term solutions.
Karen is passionate about community service and is a graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series as well as a member of the Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Association Infrastructure Committee. She serves as a ward chair and precinct committeeman in Washington Township within Marion County.
As a graduate of the University of Michigan, you will find Karen and her family cheering on the Wolverines during football season. She also enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and two children, and is an avid live-music enthusiast on the weekends. You can almost always guarantee something is cooking at her house on Sunday nights with her passion for creatively nutritious cuisine.
